On Friday, May 18, Donita Jordan, a legal assistant with the McDermott Law Firm, attended a seminar entitled "Motions and Evidence Made Easy," sponsored by the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), in Denver, Colorado.

Ms. Jordan commented that this was a very valuable pre-trial and trial practice seminar.  The many personal injury and general litigations clients that the firm represents will be well served by the knowledge acquired at this meeting of Colorado trial lawyers.

Speakers included Mac Hester, Esq., Marc Bendinelli, Todd Travis, Esq., Larry Lee, Esq., and Vicki Swanson, Esq., and the Honorables C. Scott Crabtree, Cheryl Post and William Meyers.

Topics covered included "Top Ten Motions You Must Have," and "The Ten Most Common Questions in Personal Injury and the Answers to Your Questions."

Ms. Jordan is a Professional Legal Secretary and currently is in school to obtain a bachelor's degree as a Legal Assistant.  She joined the McDermott Law Firm in July, 2005.
