Michelle is native to Canon City and returned with her husband in May 1996. Michelle received a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Dodge City Community College in 1993. She has over 10 years experience in the legal field, working in various areas of law.

Michelle and her husband have one son. They enjoy camping, traveling, hiking in the mountains, and spending quality time together.
