Though motorcycles continue to be popular, their smaller size and the mindset of automobile drivers make them dangerous to operate on Colorado roadways.  When a motorcyclist is involved in an accident, he or she is more likely to be severely injured or killed than is the operator of a car or truck.  Fortunately, those injured in motorcycle accidents have legal recourse, as do the relatives of a motorcyclist who suffered wrongful death.

And - yes - he was finally hit from behind in 2006 - but was fortunate enough not to be injured (beyond a little road rash).
