CHRISTINE HUTCHISON moved to Canon City with her husband and two young daughters in December of 2001 and later joined the McDermott Law Firm as the Office Manager / Legal Assistant. As the firm's Office Manager, she has overall responsibility of all client, administrative and personnel matters, as well as the firm's business affairs.

After attending Fort Lewis College in Durango, Chris graduated from Barnes Business College in Denver, receiving a Certificate in administrative/legal assisting. Chris has over 15 years experience in the legal field and specializes in various types of law.

Chris is the Legal Assistant to John McDermott. Specialty areas of the law for Chris include personal injury, civil litigation and employment law, and she also assists with the firm's special district clients.

Raised in Gunnison, Chris has a love for the mountains and small towns. Chris enjoys living in Canon City and appreciates all that the surrounding areas have to offer.
